Peter Jarrold and Richard Jarrold

Peter Jarrold (1933 – 2019) and Richard Jarrold (1934 – 2019) passed away within a few days of each other in November 2019.

Peter spent his career leading Jarrold Printing and succeeded his father as Chairman from 1979 until his retirement in 1999. A celebration of Peter’s life can be read here

Richard led Jarrold Retail from 1959 until 1999 taking over from Peter as Chairman in 1999 and holding that position until his retirement in 2002. A celebration of Richard’s life can be read here

Both brothers were founding Trustees of the John Jarrold Trust and had been very active in Norwich and Norfolk life and beyond.

A thanksgiving service for Peter’s life was held on Friday 17th January 2020 at Norwich Cathedral.
