John Jarrold Trust supports Norfolk & Norwich Novi Sad Concert 2018
The Norfolk & Norwich Novi Sad Association will once again be highlighting the long-standing friendship between Norwich and our twin city of Novi Sad by holding the 2018 Paul Cross Memorial Concert on 13th January 2018 at the Assembly House, Norwich.
Milica Stojadinovic, prima donna of the Serbian National Theatre and professor of solo singing at The Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad will be singing a stunning range of song and operatic aria, accompanied by her son, Boško Stojadinovic, a talented young pianist who will also be performing several works for piano.
Proceeds from the annual concert go towards supporting an educational project in Novi Sad at the Milan Petrovic School for children and young people with special needs. In previous years the Association has helped educational projects and supplied special resources for youngsters with a wide range of disability in Novi Sad.
The forthcoming concert will also be a fitting tribute to Diana Beckley, vice-chairman of the association who recently died on the twinning visit to Novi Sad in September, and who worked tirelessly and with great enthusiasm to promote the friendship with Novi Sad.
The concert will take place on Saturday 13 January 2018 in the Music Room at the Assembly House, Norwich @ 7.30pm.
Tickets are £17 (Students £6) and can be purchased from the Norwich Theatre Royal Booking Office on 01603 598688
