Jarrold supports the Big Pink Beauty Weekend raising funds for littlelifts, a charity supporting people with breast cancer

Over the weekend of 16 and 17 October 2021, Jarrold Department Store in Norwich hosted a ‘Big Pink Beauty Weekend’ in support of local breast cancer charity, littlelifts.

Across the two days, the Beauty Hall was decorated in pink, and offering lucky dips, luxury beauty hamper raffles, mini makeovers, and sample treats through a very popular Lucky Dip! Customers were invited join in with the celebrations and donate to the wonderful local cause. They also added their own ‘little lift’ message to decorative display trees on the shop floor, expressing personal thoughts of love and positivity.

As one of Jarrold charities of the year, littlelifts aims to provide practical and emotional support to women who face chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer, giving them a carefully curated littlelifts box to help ease symptoms during their treatment.

The event raised an amazing £1,431.59, which will be allocated to support their work at the Norwich and Norfolk University Hospital and the radiotherapy team – buying enough products to fill 62 littlelifts boxes.
